Astonishing discovery reveals a new world beyond AI
Scientists have been struggling with efforts to create better representations of visual and audio material. Currently there are some difficult barriers for improvement in these domains.
Such problems include:
Contextual understanding: AI does not understand the “why” of anything that exists in an image. This leads to out-of-context compositions that don’t make sense.
High resolution fidelity: AI lacks the ability to often render the details accurately. Zooming in on pictures often reveals many errors. Newer techniques often hide these by out of focus simulated shots.
Coherence: Similar to context, AI does not understand the structure of things. Therefore generations often contain deformities or absurd constructions that would never exist.
Limited scope: AI can only generate from patterns on which it was trained. This is one of the reasons it has struggled with hands as they are often not the main focus of lots of existing images. It is good at what people often draw or photograph, but everything else will be subpar.
However, a new discovery may just change all of that. It has recently been revealed reality can actually be captured and experienced. A new revolutionary device can use actual light, the physical phenomenon of reality, to make an image that has none of the limitations of current AI technology.
This new device uses a lens to capture the color and intensity of light from the visible spectrum. Those who have previewed the technology are astonished at what this tech can do.

A related experiment done by the same research group is uncovering some additional unexpected revolutions in the area of 3D simulations as well. The researchers took a group of virtual reality enthusiasts and asked them to take part in an unprecedented experiment.
They were taken to an outdoors location and asked to remove their VR headsets. The results were beyond astounding. Researchers found that the participants experienced a heightened state of awareness and attention never before demonstrated in the VR labs. Monitoring vital parameters revealed drops in blood pressure and calming brainwaves. Some now suggest in surprising conclusion that this might actually be a healthy activity.
Many stated they felt they were having some kind of out of body experience and others were just completely overwhelmed. Researchers believe this is due to the fact that the bandwidth of information increased massively to the brain due to the novel idea of bypassing the AI VR system and letting the environment interact directly with the human system.

The escape from reality is a pursuit that often ends full circle attempting to recreate what you already have. Where will our current AI endeavors lead us? And will we be better or worse for it all in the end?
